If your window does not have a standard shape, don’t worry! There are lots of solutions on how to dress your window.
Arched windows and doors
Arched windows and doors are so pretty they want to be shown off. The best solution is the Italian strung system that allows in lots of light and provides a perfect frame for the view outside. Fittings are made specifically for your windows, following the shape of your arch. The fixed curtain heading is stitched closed at the top and the curtains are pulled back and upwards by means of cords threaded through rings sewn to the lining. When opened the curtains are pulled back to let in the maximum light whilst still retaining the elegant shape. A beaded trim can be added for a glamorous look or they can be edged in a contrasting colour. The material must be lined to allow the curtains to hang gracefully
Italian strung curtains work best with a traditional heading and they look particularly stunning with triple pinch pleat or goblet heading.
Deep Recess Windows
Deep recess window can make a wonderful feature. So don’t hide it! A roman blind will give an unobstructed as possible during the day whilst look stunning at night. If there is any space in the recess above the window we would a pelmet and blind. If space is limited just go for the blind which will look beautiful at night but will tuck right up during the day.
