That's it!
At Fabric Mills we have loads of short ends, wonderful designer fabric off cuts. They are just perfect for 'make your own' projects. For the doorstop we used a chenille fabric and decorated the doorstop with contrasting key tassels (available from Fabric Mills). We also have lots of other trimmings and accessories to help you complete your project.

Let me introduce you to Sia. Sian made this truely beautiful wedding stole out of silk from our Monmouth shop. As Sian says herself, "it was 'a very sucessful wedding stole which received many compliments. And it was lovely and warm, I lined it with an old duvet!" Now that is what we call inspirational!

Now Tor really is inspirational! We think you will agree that her wonderful 'bags of loveliness' are fantastic! As Tor admits she is addicted to her vintage hand-me-down sewing maching! She hand makes bags, hats, and other textile items, using a variety of upholstery short ends. Each item is individually cut and handmade with care, making each bag unique! For similar fabrics to the ones Tor used check out FMM 3407 and FMM 2765.

Fabric Mills have a HUGE range of upholstery short ends - some truly fabulous fabrics at amazing prices - perfect for inspirational projects from stoles to quilts, blinds to footstools. As all the fabric pieces are 3 metres or less we sadly can't feature them on our website, but if you have been inspired why not pop into your nearest Fabric Mills shop (Cirencester, Bath or Monmouth) and ask to browse through our short ends collections.
